I'm glad to report that my Barry Calendar for 2024 is available now. In the customary fashion I have selected a dozen of my photographs, shown below, which I hope convey how lovely Barry and Barry Island can be. Features of the calendar include:
- Images of The Knap, Cold Knap Point, The Knap Gardens, the park and viaduct at Porthkerry, The Old Harbour, the docks lighthouse, a view from Jackson's Bay and, of course, Whitmore Bay at Barry Island.
- The size is approximately 47cm by 31cm when open (that's slightly bigger than A3) but when closed is 31cm by 23.5cm. In case you're posting it on you make like to know it is eligible for Royal Mail's large letter category.
- It has a good sized date grid with space to note appointments and so forth. There are a couple of additional pages at the back for extra notes.
- It comes in a cellophane bag for a smart finish and is despatched in a card backed 'do not bend' envelope.
- The Calendar is printed locally by a Vale of Glamorgan company using paper sourced from sustainable forests.
The price is now just £8.25 including 2nd class Royal Mail postage to addresses within the UK. (Orders to Barry addresses may be hand delivered). You can buy the calendar via this website, just click on the buy symbol on any image below to pay via PayPal (no PayPal account required). If you prefer not to pay online you can send a cheque or if you're local pay by cash. If for any reason you change your mind just return the calendar within 14 days for a refund. Should you like the calendar sent abroad please email me with details and I'll let you know the cost.
